This work consists of two installations placed in a confrontational arrangement within a single space. It explores the commonality of "Shimatsu - honor the material by using it fully" between technological and primitive actions, striving to elevate the confrontational stance toward materials into a work of art.

The installation on the right is made up of 3D-printed objects that take the shape of "Kaen-shiki-doki (flame-patterned pottery)". It's a group of objects that have been changed in scale and modified shape to reinterpret the form of the "Kaen-shiki-doki (flame-patterned pottery)". The artist reinterpreted the "Kaen-shiki-doki (flame-patterned pottery)" across various scales—from settlement models and lampshades created through shape modifications of diverse pottery forms and 3D printing, to forests and shell mounds formed from the support materials of byproducts.

The work on the left is an installation made of leather and skulls with tools used in the process. The leather comes from Chinese muntjac ****and wild boar that were hunted. The skin was removed from the heads of the Chinese muntjac and wild boar. The heads with flesh attached were simmered overnight. After being degreased, they were turned into skulls. The hides were stripped of flesh and tanned using alum tanning to create leather.

The commonality of the actions involved in how the materials were processed was highlighted, and the two installations were arranged in a confrontational manner.
