​Hiroki Kaimoto ｜開元 宏樹

1994年神奈川生まれ。東京大学大学院学際情報学府博士課程 単位取得退学（筧康明 研究室）。東京大学 生産技術研究所 技術職員 (檜垣・山中研究室）。 デジタルファブリケーションの研究をベースに、素材のもつ特性によって生まれる形状の変化、他の素材への干渉やその蓄積によって生まれる形態をテーマとした研究や作品を制作している。

Born in Kanagawa, 1994. He is a Ph.D. candidate in the Graduate School of Interdisciplinary Information Studies (GSII) at UTokyo (xlab Yasuaki Kakehi Laboratory). He is also a technical staff member at the Institute of Industrial Science (IIS), UTokyo (pdlab M. Higaki / S. Yamanak Laboratory). He works on his research and artworks in the field of digital fabrication. He is interested in the transformation and forms from the stacking of materiality and material-material interaction.
